"A sonic "post-chiptune" experiment by an unsung chiptune master (Auxcide), this album rules, kicks ass, slays, destroys, annihilates, regenerates and recreates the universe in 4 short tracks. And then it does it again, in LSDJ." - [tlr]
This album is free. Any donations will go to recovering costs of mastering and producing merchandise.
[ Dimensions ] sparks a change in recorded music for Auxcide. This style more reflects his recent live music then his pure LSDJ tracks from last year. Each song was made to have one aspect and then another related one: Astral's airy ambiance to it's more gritty section, Oversoul's change in dance and counter melodies, Spirit's free 6 bar solo sections into an 8 bar breakdown and then dancefest, and Dimensions' alternating keys and melodic feeling. This album was written while exploring the Arturia MiniBrute as a slave to the Arduinoboy as well as the Arduinoboy software itself.
Each song was made using 2 Gameboy Advance SPs running LSDJ, a Korg Microkorg, Arturia MiniBrute, Korg ES-1 MKII, all being controlled by another Gameboy Advance SP using an Arduniboy. Korg Mini Kaoss Pad, Korg Kaoss Pad 3, and Korg Kaoss Pad Quad, and a Boss Metal Zone pedal were used for effects.
Almost every aspect of each song was tracked using Gameboys running a form of LSDJ. The MiniBrute's parameters were tweaked live, as was the Kaoss Pad Quad.
Tracks 5, 6, 7, and 8 are done completely with the software LSDJ on prosounded DMG-01s (as opposed to the AGS-001s in 1, 2, 3, and 4).
The download includes the .savs for LSDJ.

This isnt chiptune, no sir this is nothing but dance viiiiibes and naaaaasty beats. Trey Frey just hits different. Sounds like i'm floating on a cloud of prosound mods in a sky of DMG backlights.
not gonna lie though, one last stream would be pretty good...
Sorry I'm late to the party by the way. *-*
